DSC00942 Expertly Navigating Appellate Law in Utah and Federal Courts

Rachel Phillips Ainscough

Appellate Attorney

Biography

I am an appellate attorney, but I also have experience in trial court litigation. I have represented clients in both state and federal court. My experience in both trial and appellate courts grew during my clerkships at both the Utah Supreme Court and the United States District Court, District of Utah.

My work focuses exclusively on appeals. I counsel with clients to determine the best strategy on appeal. I have submitted briefs and petitions in the Utah Court of Appeals, Utah Supreme Court, and Tenth Circuit. I am passionate about ensuring that trial court proceedings occur without error and that my clientsโ€™ rights are protected.

When Iโ€™m not working on cases, you can often find me reading, building Legos, watching hockey (the Colorado Avalanche), or just outside enjoying the sunshine.
