(1) The defendant failed to engage with the correct version of the statute, which is the one in place at the time the charged criminal conduct occurred.
(2) Utah Rule of Criminal Procedure 16 only requires the disclosure of statements made by a defendant or codefendant or written or recorded statements of other witnesses.
