Richman & Richman v. Redmond
Richman & Richman v. Redmond, 2023 UT App 158 (Mortensen, J.)
Contracts
A law firm who originally represented one Son in a probate action later claimed it also represented the estate and Widow individually. It later sued Son and Widow for unpaid fees. The district court ruled that the Firm failed to prove its case, and the Firm appealed. The Utah Court of Appeals affirmed, holding:
- It did not have sufficient grounds to reverse the district court’s decision because the Firm left an independent basis of the district court’s ruling unchallenged.
