(1) The Court of Appeals granted the City’s petition for extraordinary relief because of the seriousness of the alleged error and the significance of the legal issues.
(2) The district court erred when it dismissed the entire case at the de novo hearing following its ruling on the defendant’s challenge to a probation revocation order and should have instead remanded the matter to the justice court.
