(1) It is the appellant’s responsibility to provide an adequate record to support any allegations of error on appeal, when transcript or records are missing appellate courts will presume the regularity of the proceedings below.
(2) A juvenile court is not required to inform a minor before they testify that they have the right, under Rule 26(a) of the Utah Rules of Juvenile Procedure, to remain silent and that anything they say can be used against them. It is sufficient if their counsel advises them of the right or if they were advised of the right at an early hearing in the proceeding.
