Before joining The Appellate Group, I clerked for Judges David N. Mortensen and John D. Luthy of the Utah Court of Appeals. Previous to that, I interned for Justice Paige Petersen of the Utah Supreme Court. I am excited to transfer my skills from working in the Utah appellate courts to working for The Appellate Group. 

A highlight of my law school experience was arguing before Judges Merrick Garland, Thomas Griffith, and Neomi Rao of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. I was honored to be named Best Oralist in the Rex E. Lee Moot Court Competition for that argument. I also had the privilege of interning with the U.S. DOJ Civil Rights Division, Housing and Civil Enforcement Section and the ACLU of Utah. 

Prior to law school, I taught high school history. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my three kids and husband, traveling internationally, and painting landscapes.
