Ex-husband died after trial but before the court issued its ruling in a divorce proceeding. The district court closed the case, explaining that Ex-wife could pursue any surviving claims in probate court. The Utah Court of Appeals reversed and remanded, holding:
- Ex-husband’s death did not deprive the court of jurisdiction to resolve most of the unresolved claims.
